General Description

The RTL8364NB-VB is a QFN88, high-performance 2+2-port 10/100/1000M Ethernet switch featuring low-power integrated dual-port 10/100/1000M PHYs that support 1000Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 10Base-T.

The embedded packet storage SRAM in the RTL8364NB-VB features superior memory management technology to efficiently utilize memory space. The RTL8364NB-VB integrates a 2048-entry look-up table with a 4-way XOR Hashing algorithm for address searching and learning. The table provides read/write access from the Slave I2C-like serial Interface, Slave Media Independent Interface Management (MIIM) Interface, or Slave SPI Interface. Each of the entries can be configured as a static entry.

The Extension GMAC1 and Extension GMAC2 of the RTL8364NB-VB implements GMII/RGMII/MII/TMII/RMII/1000Base-X/100FX/SGMII/HSGMII interfacec. These interfaces can be connected to an external PHY, MAC, CPU, or RISC for specific applications.
