Realtek's MatriX Edge-AI chip enables the integration of AI into various devices. For example, TVs equipped with the Edge-AI chip can perform real-time translation of TV programs into different languages without cloud access. It also features a local AI agent that, in addition to using natural language processing, has a long-term memory RAG function and communicates with local or cloud devices via the MCP protocol. Furthermore, the newly launched intelligent display chip can be paired with up to 5K screens to output ultra-high-definition picture quality, supporting multi-source input and multi-window control, setting a benchmark for next-generation display devices.
