Realtek’s ALC1320 has a built-in 32-bit DSP with nonlinear audio algorithms, including surround sound effects, bass enhancement, parametric equalizers, 3-band DRC, and de-rattle, without requiring driver installation. A V-I sensor allows the ALC1320 to run frequency-domain speaker protection algorithms, while its configurable signal chain can be in any order, a pioneering move when compared to similar smart audio chips. Realtek's RISC-V core supports SDCA v1.0 and possesses SDCA expandability, an ultrasound-dedicated path for independent audio control, and ultrasound. The ALC1320 offers a built-in Ultrasound Rx, providing 80% efficiency at a 20V/0.5W output that continuously outputs after the host controller enters sleep mode, further extending battery life. 4.5V~20V operation is suitable for a PC, monitor, consumer electronics, and USB-powered devices.
