Realtek’s next-generation wireless connectivity and intelligent control portfolio delivers advanced HDT audio, spatial interaction, and health-integrated control for entertainment and smart living. The HDT Audio SoC offers ultra-responsive, low-latency LE Audio with LC3 for high-fidelity immersive gaming. The directional RCU combines Bluetooth, UWB, and IMU for precise, motion-aware spatial control on smart TVs and interactive multimedia systems. The universal RCU adds rich 2.5D graphics, a smooth 30 fps display, and seamless multi-device management to enhance premium smart home and IoT experiences. Completing the portfolio, the Smart Healthcare RCU transforms the TV remote into a health-aware hub by integrating heart rate, blood oxygen, and blood pressure monitoring, along with intelligent features that support a connected digital wellness ecosystem.
Wi-Fi Smart Connection
Realtek Wi-Fi chips fully integrate the latest Wi-Fi Aware standard, bringing a major breakthrough to near-field communication. Without requiring the Internet or an access point, Wi-Fi Aware enables nearby devices to discover one another, pair securely, and establish high-speed direct connections. The latest version further strengthens security with standardized Wi-Fi Aware pairing mechanisms, data path encryption, and beacon protection to effectively prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. This capability enhances zero-configuration smart home onboarding, offline file sharing, and cross-platform interaction, ushering in a brand-new user experience for next-generation wireless connectivity.
Intelligent Human Sensing
Realtek launches the newest IoT solution: a highly integrated SoC combining Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth LE, Thread, and advanced sensing technology. Key features include seamless performance, simplified RF design and BOM, support for Wake-on-Approach contactless control for automatically switching lighting on and off, and privacy-first monitoring. Using Realtek’s in-house radar technology and algorithm, the solution detects human presence and motion without external sensing components. It reduces design complexity and additional costs compared to conventional IoT solutions that require external sensors, while providing an adaptive AI model to enable motion and spatial sensing capabilities.
