Realtek’s RTS5490 USB4 Hub controller provides a total solution for all USB4 functions, including USB4, USB 3.2, Thunderbolt 3, DisplayPort 2.1, Type-C, and PD 3.1 applications in a single chip.

Realtek’s high-bandwidth USB4 solution connects to laptops, desktops, tablets over a USB‑C cable, and offers high resolution video. Integrated with a USB Type-C R2.2 and USB PD R3.1 controller, it offers a device charging function, and can provide charging back to the host at a maximum 240W charging power. The RTS5490 is ideal for PC peripherals, gaming, and portable device Dock and Dongle.
